Gentiles and the Sabbath

Here is what the Master says:
"Keep justice, do what's right; my saving power is near, my righteousness will soon be revealed."

There is joy and happiness -- blessing! -- for the person who does this, the one who takes hold of it, who keeps Shabbat and does not profane it, and keeps himself from evil.

A gentile joining Adonai should not say,
"Adonai will keep me separate from Israel."
Neither should the lowly eunuch say,
"I am only a dried-up tree."

Because here is what the Master says:
"I will give power to even the powerless eunuchs who keep my Shabbat, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant. In my house, they will be given an everlasting name, never to be removed."

And the gentiles who join themselves to Adonai to serve him, to love the name Yah, every one of them who keeps Shabbat and doesn't profane it, and hold fast to my covenant, I will bring them into my house on my holy mountain and make them happy and joyful; all they offer and sacrifice will be acceptable to me.

My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations and all peoples.

Adonai Elohim, the Master who gathers Israel's exiles, decrees it:
"I will gather others to them besides the ones already gathered."

-Isaiah 56

(Preach it, Isaiah! :-))

  1. Yesha'Yahu 58:13,14

"If you hold back your foot on Shabbat from pursuing your own interests on my holy (set-apart) day; if you call Shabbat a delight, Adonai's holy day, worth honoring; then honor it by not doing your usual things or pursuing your own interests or speaking about them. If you do, you will find delight in Adonai - I will make you ride on the heights of the land and feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Ya'akov, for the mouth of Adonai has spoken."

Can this be the day that so many are sure has been removed from the ways of YHVH?

How could we have known so little for so long, except that we were punished for our unrighteousness, judged for our rebellious deeds.

But now that we are being gathered in, here at the end of the age, we find our hearts being drawn back to our fathers (Avraham, Yitz'chak, Ya'akov) and back to the ways of YHVH.

When both houses are joined together again, there will be great rejoicing, such as has not been seen before, and we will worship together on His set-apart mountain. Praising Him for the work He has done.

Our hearts yearn for that day, as we will embrace each other without regard for the distinctions we now cling to, and we will see clearly why all these things had to take place.

Shalom to those who are far away.

Shalom to those who are close.

  4. Thank you for standing up for the Sabbath, that is exactly what HASHEM is looking for. To many people today have their own theology concerning the sabbath and what day they choose. God's Word stands forever.

    Shalom and Joy.
