RSVP: Shabbat in Jerusalem with the Lord

The time is coming when I will gather together all nations and languages.
They will come and see my glory, and I will give them a sign.
I will send some of their survivors to the nations of Tarshish, Pul, Lud, Tuval, Greece and more distant coasts,
Where they've never heard of my fame or glory.

They will proclaim my glory in these nations;
and they will bring your family out from the gentiles as an offering to the Lord
On horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, on camels -
Bringing them to my holy mountain in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem),
Just as the people of Isra'el themselves bring their offerings in clean vessels to the house of Adonai.

I will also take cohanim (priests) and L'vi'im (Levites) from these," says the Master.

"For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making will continue in my presence," says the Master,

"So will your descendants and your name continue. "Every month on Rosh-Hodesh (new moon) and every week on Shabbat, everyone living will come to worship in my presence," says the Master.

-Isaiah 66

Every living thing will come and worship the Lord in Jerusalem each Shabbat. This includes gentiles!

Wow. What a profound prophecy. Preach it, Isaiah! :-)

Shabbat shalom, fine blog readers. Looking forward to the shabbat when all of us go up to Jerusalem, worshiping the Lord, God of Yisra'el.

  1. Me too, Judah. Thinking about our future in the Kingdom has kept me going through a lot of hard times. It also gives me hope for all that is hopeless in this present time. Isaiah is my favorite prophetic book and it was my favorite BEFORE I had a grandson called by that name.:0)Of course, that sweet little guy has made it even more precious to me and I look forward to sharing it with him as he grows up.

    I posted a couple of questions for your brother but I was slow getting back to him and I'm afraid he gave up. If he is still interested, I would still like to go through his post and have him clarify things for me a bit. I'd appreciate it if you could ask him for me.:0)
