I mentioned last week I’m building a special version of Chavah Messianic Radio for the Coptic Egyptian Christian community, one that plays music, chants, hymns, and sermons from the Coptic community.
I’ll have something to show you all later this week, but for now, enjoy this Coptic hymn; it’s one of the songs we’ll be playing on the new, soon-to-be-released Coptic internet radio:
Translation:
Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord; again in the Name of the Lord.
Hosanna to the Son of David; again to the Son of David.
Hosanna in the highest; again in the highest.
Hosanna to the King of Israel; again to the King of Israel.
Let us praise saying:
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. Glory be to our God, and glory be to our God.
Something really amazing, really miraculous even, about Egyptians singing glory to the King of Israel.
(Thank you, Lord, for bringing Egyptians – ancient foes of your people – into the fold as your children, glorifying your name. You did this, and it’s marvelous to see!)
Isaiah 19... especially verse 25!
ReplyDeleteAwesome stuff!
ReplyDeleteHow easy is it to set up a pirate radio station in Cairo, using a PC, internet connection and some kind of FM transmitter I wonder?
will look forward to how it shapes up!
One of my best friends is Egyptian. It was so cool when he came to Passover. Can you imagine? Yeshua is wonderful to bring us all together! G-d bless you Judah for helping the Coptic Believers.
