Hey fine blog readers.
Just a note to tell you all, “I’m still alive!”
I’ve been ill for about a week now, to the point I’ve hardly been able to eat, drink, or speak during a bout with fever and a rather severe case of strep throat (or as I like to call it, Satan’s Own Torture of the Human Throat). Nasty little illness.
But I’m slowly recovering. Will get back to regular blogging goodness in the next day or two. Thanks for your patience.
Sorry to hear this--may God send you a speedy refuah shlemah!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Yahnatan.
ReplyDeleteBe well, mate!

ReplyDeleteI'd like to take a moment, if you would allow, Judah, to use your comments section to promote my new fun blog:
ReplyDeletejooziwa.blogspot.com
I'll be posting random thoughts, as well as religious discussion relating to Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. I hope to have good, straight-forward discussion done Israeli style (truthful, forward, and without taking things personally); please see the "about this blog" for a further explanation on that.
Hope you all will give it a read and PLEASE comment on anything and everything, and don't worry about offending me. =)
Thanks for allowing me to mention my new blog her, Judah (hahaha, I didn't even ask you).

I'll be praying for a quick recovery for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to the oral surgeon tomorrow who will be examining my wisdom teeth. By this time next month, they should all be gone. I've been having headaches (smaller to larger) quite a bit since Oct-Nov and pawned it off on stress and barometric changes. Now I know what it really is!
Thanks, everyone. I was finally able to sleep last night, first time in several days. I'm feeling better. Should be back in full swing by shabbat.
ReplyDeleteJohn,
I had my wisdom teeth removed as a teen; its very painful in the days following the procedure. I hope you have some heavy duty pain killers handy, or at least some of that other stuff you consume to mask the pain. ;-)
When aspirin and other stuff was not really working to mask the pain...I knew something was up.
ReplyDeleteI know it will get worse before it gets better.
