    Thanks for kindly mentioning my name in a positive light. You also are clearly one in it for the long haul.

    I believe you are right that the future is hopeful and those committed to Jerusalem's redemption need to stand firm. While standing, we should always study, always be open to change, and always hold firm to Yeshua even when we don't understand it all.

    May 2010 be the beginning of greater cooperation, trust, and accomplishment.

  2. Marcion's translation of this verse actually swaps the word fulfill and abolish.

    So think not that I have come to fulfill but rather to abolish..and thats just scary. But we all know his deal anyway.

  3. Yeah. Marcion and his followers really did this. I found out about it from John Stott's Message of the Sermon on the Mount.

    I'm presently completing a paper on Matthew 5:17-19. It includes one of my charts on the opinions of current scholars on what "fulfilling" the Law means.
