Yikes!
This happened about 20 miles from my house today as I was driving home from work:
This bridge, which carries about 200,000 cars per day, collapsed into the Mississippi river today during rush hour. Early reports are only 6 dead and a great number injured.
I was on that road about 15 or so miles away from the bridge when it happened.
My older brother Jesse crossed the bridge just an hour before it collapsed.
I don't want to get all downtrodden or hysterical when these things happen, I'll only say I will pray and am saddened for the families of the folks hurt in this tragedy. I'm also thankful to God that my own family is safe and that only 6 have been reported dead, it could've been much worse.
